Design art is an important manifestation of human culture in a specific historical period. Any development of design art is closely related to its corresponding social, political, economy, cultural and human factors,which result from the complementation,contrast and deposition of many complex social relations.The design art of Dual Decoding of post-modernism is a cultural and artistic thought that developed in the culture and artistic context of the 20th century .Modernism is the embodiment of the social practice by recent and modern bourgeois in the field of consciousness and culture.Its core is rationalism, which advocates the rational function and that rationalism can conquer all.It holds the belief that rationalism is the basis and strength that can make human being liberated from oppression come true.Modernism design in the beginning of the 20th century also pays attention to the fact that function decides form,but it places too much emphasis on rationalism,thus results the style of mono-decoding in the field of design and this anxious status quo is everlasting. They believe that the goal and end result of design should be a cultural atmosphere with designers and designing objects,rather than the designed product itself ;and design should put value on the magnification of a state ,a need and a spiritual connotation and should become some cultural symbolization of design art .Design art should also display the corresponding style characteristics on the basis of wide-ranged integration of various social and cultural thinking trends ,which can be perceived as a visual manifestation focused on by peoplr .The author of this paper ,though combing a large amount of data finds that scholars both of home and abroad have carried out comparatively extensive discussion and research on the post-modernism of design art and proposed some constructive comments. However,these researches just give the characteristics of post–modernism of design art in the some single aspect or just explain the definition of Dual Decoding .the paper strives to give a comparatively comprehensive explanation on the thinking and techniques of Dual Decoding and a strategic demonstration based on humanized cultural demand through studying methods such as various literatures,logical analysis and comparing demonstration .This paper combs and demonstrates the status quo of modernism"anxiety".The focus is the strategy that Dual Decoding can be used to desolve the anxiety which is also the creative point .It takes the Hierarchy Theory of Maslow as its theory of maslow as its theoretical basis to demonstrate the strategy and provides case analysis.
