This article intends for classifying novels under the "visualization" era background, making a comparison among them, illustrating the aesthetics demands of novels and film-TV art, thus seeking the causes of novel "visualization".The article consists of 37,000 words or so, the main body divided into four chapters except the preface and conclusion. The preface briefly introduces the brought-about background of the novel "visualization", comprehensively reviews the facts of the novel "visualization" research, and points out the contents and argumentative method of the article. The first part of this thesis, according to arranging the realistic environment and historical scene of TV plays adapted from the novel in recent 20 years, chiefly expounds an interactive relation between the novel and the TV plays. On one hand, the novel has provided the TV plays with a great deal of artistic nourishment so as to accelerate the course for the TV plays to become a type of art. On the other hand, because TV plays had a strong influence on the novel, the novel had to adjust its system to its environment. The second chapter classifies the novels according to their relationship with film-TV arts during the "visualization" era and pictures these novels. Among these are the novels adapted for film-TV arts ,the novels adapted from the film-TV art and the novels which resist the "visualization".The third chapter mainly devoted to explore the transference process of adaptation and held that the transference is in fact the re-reading and reproducing the true spirit and the stylistic traits of the novel by means of movie art through extracting or refining the visual components signaled in the novel. These visual signals will be further enhanced with the help of strong visual devices used in movie production. In the last chapter, the author wants to explore the causes of the phenomenon from cultural background, writers and literary audience. The reason why the novels pursuit to "visualization" is that literature is reluctant to leave the past cultural hegemony status, and the writers are hard to resist the temptation for fame and gain, and readers express dissatisfaction on traditional reading methods. The conclusion states that the film-TV art needs hovel and vice versa. Film-TV art provides the stage for novel to show its charm whereas novel has a positive influence on film-TV art's beauty-appreciation activity through its unique perspective of beauty. The interaction situation of the novel and film-TV art shows not only the state of being actual but also that of future.
