Chinese general scope included adverb such as "dou"(都) is a very important kind of word,and there are a lot of controversies in the research of its classification,semantic grammar function and so on.This paper give priority to ontology research,and firstly,from the semantic function,it defines the selected modern Chinese general scope included adverb such as "dou"(都),and it puts forward some questions as to the explanations for these words in some mordern Chinese dictionaries,form word dictionaries and reference books about foreign Chinese.Then it describes each member of this kind of adverb from their general included object,position in sentences,part of speech for the modified object,semantic feature of the components around them,semantic selection and other usages.Next we make a horizontal comparison among ten words from the six aspects and get their similarities and differenties.At last,we conclude the usage of each member in this kind on the basis of the suggestions offered to the foreign Chinese text books and we hope it can provide consultation for the compile of some reference books and offer help for the Chinese beginners's understanding.
