| Twenty-first century is characterized by increasing communication, which brings new requirement of intellects, as strong spirit of cooperation and good sense of communication and skills, to form harmonious interrelationship. Therefore, fine interpersonal adaptability has been one of important parameters measured talent quality of modern society. During accelerating teaching development of higher education,interpersonal adaptability of undergraduates is one important problem solved urgently for their healthy growth and overall development.This study try to design a tool to measure interpersonal adaptability of college student, On the basis of theoretical study and practical survey.And then to make a comprehensive study from the evaluation system and development characteristics and Influencing factors of undergraduates'Interpersonal adaptability. Enriching the study of interpersonal psychological education and scientific theory.We combine empirical research and literature research for this study .The first step, we gains a"four-factor-correlation Model"of college student interpersonal adaptability, referring to the findings of relevant theoretical research and open-ended survey.Then,we compile items in accordance with the foregoing theoretical constitution.After item evaluation and pretesting ,"Undergraduate Interpersonal Adaptability Scale"(UIAS)comes into being ultimately. This scale contains 4 factors, 53 items.With the UIAS, we tested 1777 undergraduates of 7 colleges. Then using item analysis, factor analysis, and other statistical methods for analysis of the research data, the results showed that:(1)The"Undergraduate Interpersonal Adaptability Scale"is a"four-factor-correlation Model". these factors contain :"Happy to interpersonal relationships","Good at interpersonal relationships","Dare to interpersonal relationships"and"Conducive to interpersonal relationships".(2)The"Undergraduate Interpersonal Adaptability Scale"has higher internal consistency validity, and confirmatory factor analysis reveals the framework of this scale and theory frame have better fitting degree at the same time.which can be used as a tool to measure interpersonal adaptability of college student . (3)There is a significantly negative corrolation beween undergraduates'interpersonal adaptability and individual mental and physical symptoms; college students'interpersonal adaptability to their sense of happiness index and social adaptability was positively correlated.(4)On undergraduates'interpersonal adaptability , the demographic variables:gender, whether or not the only child, family sources, grade and major showed significant difference on the whole or in part. |
