With the development of society, Student Mental Quality has attracted many researchers. Interpersonal Adaptability which is one of the most essential factors in Student Mental Quality starts to be noticed by some researchers. At present reseaches regarding to Interpersonal Adaptability mainly concern: (1) the description of connotation and structure of Student Interpersonal Adaptability, (2) the description of the actuality, problems and strategies of Student Interpersonal Adaptability, (3) the correlational studies of Student Interpersonal Adaptability, (4) the training and intervention of Student Interpersonal Adaptability. The disadvantages of those researches lie in: (1) Conceptual confusion. They often confuse "Interpersonal Adaptation", "Interpersonal communication", "Interpersonal Relation" and "Interpersonal Adaptability". (2) The objects are too limited. Those researches mainly foucus on the Interpersonal Adaptability of freshmen and few focus on the Interpersonal Adaptability of other college students.(3)Lack of scales using to test Interpersonal Adaptability of College Students.(4) As for the problme existing in Interpersonal Adaptability of College Students, nowadays reseaches are not concrete. In order to solve the problems mentioned above, based on the reseaches home and abroad, our reseach studies the Interpersonal Adaptability of College Students preliminarily by using Literature Review Methods,Obsrevation Methods,Interview Methods,Expert Consultation Methods,Survey Methods, Variance Analysis, Factor Analysis (Exploratory Factor Analysis and Confirmatory Factor Analysis),Cluster Analysis and so on. Our research mainly includes three parts: Scale Development of Interpersonal Adaptability of College Students; Exploring the Developmental Characteristics of Interpersonal Adaptability of College Students; Studying the Interpersonal disabilities of College Students.the main conclusions show:1 The Interpersonal Adaptability of College Students is a hiberarchy including eleven primary factors (Self-Recognition Ability, Relationship-Recognition Ability, Comprehension Ability, Interpersonal Attribution Ability, Autonomy Ability, Expression Ability, Cooperation Ability, Empathy Ability, Perspicacity, Adjustment and Control Ability and Reflective Thinking Ability), two secondary factors (Interpersonal Recognition Ability and Interpersonal Interaction Ability) and one tertiary factor.2 The Scale of Interpersonal Adaptability of College Students has fine reliability and validity. It can be used to test the Interpersonal Adaptability of College Students. 3 The developmental trend of Interpersonal Adaptability of College Students looks like letter"U".Sophomores and juniors get lower scores than freshmen and seniors on Interpersonal Adaptability.4 There is no difference between urban and surburb, among types of schools and between genders on Interpersonal Adaptability of College Students.5 The Interpersonal Disabilities of College Students can be divided into four types: Recogniton Disability, Interaction Disability, Entireness Disability and Inconsistency Disability.
