Body is visible, while vector is invisible. It is far-reaching that the visibility of physical vector being discovered in modern theatre. Various threads of thought emerged, such as'body-subject', the linguistic turn, structuralism and post-structuralism, and post-modernism, when Antonin Artaud brought vast movements to the western theatre. However"the second wave of western thoughts in modern Chinese theatre"defined by Ma Sen is not more than a large amount of proper nouns. There is hardly any approach to understand the experimental performances which named as Theatre of Cruelty, Poor Theatre, The Living Theatre, Site-specific Theatre/Environmental Theatre, etc. The most of mainstream theatres in China are considered as the places for entertainment, where are occupied by the plays called western masterpieces, white-collar drama, the light comedy, and so on. The conception of visible physical vector originates in'presence text', but beyond it. A different aspect of view that could make all the happening in theatre be revaluated will be introduced to the audiences and the theatre practioners. |
