| This study is to probe and practise the new mode to combine the sculpture and video in the new media art, that is, a combination of sculpture entities and video projection, and the new visual experience and artistic expression resulted from this combination. And this study will be applied to the work for graduation.The study of this new mode is based on the research on the relationship between sculpture and video. First, it is the separate study of sculpture and video media. To study the character, feature and expression force of the two media; each ordinary mode applied in the new media art; or each ordinary mode combined with other media ( the TV video emerges independently and the video plays through projection screen), so as to clarify their application significance and effect in the new media art . Second, it is to study the ordinary combination mode in the new media art to demonstrate its creative results, new sights and breakthroughs from the aspects of academy and practice, which will give the guidanceto the new practice.By study, the sculpture media is the three-dimensional vehicle of the video media in the new works , and it , in the vertical axis , has broken the plane vehicle which was used for a long term in the video projection, and brought new experience with the more intuitive three-dimensional vision. Video media is the "surface mapping" of the sculpture media in the new works , and has broken the constant state of sculpture in the horizontal axis (the time axis ), so as to make the sculpture multi-dimensional (more than three-dimensional), and bring new experience in color change and time evolution. There are two steps to deliver the visual expression of the whole new works, and they are"3D modeling" the of sculpture media which clue the body and shape , and the "surface mapping" of the video media which clue the external details, colors, and time information. This unique creation way -"Two In One" has generated a new creative experience and fresh artistic expression.
