In this paper, mainly investigated on the basis of eco-ethical thought of Rolston theoretical background and practical background , Expositing and discussing the core of natural values that the main elements of logic and theory. Rolston believes that the natural value is the unification of the natural value, intrinsic value and system value ,in which the intrinsic value of nature is the key to the whole theory, it is the creative attributes which do not rely on the human subjective experience and objective existence . such as the individual level, natural organisms is self-maintenance, self-growth and self-regeneration of life, it spared effort to safeguard its own good, not for the purpose of his existence; In the overall level, the performance of the intrinsic value of nature ,for its creative attributes——the creation of all things。As being natural systems with the creation of all things, Man , nature and the existence of other objects have equal intrinsic value. Finally an article analysis on Rolston theory of natural value argument and its theoretical and practical significance, consider a deep understanding of its theoretical contents will help us to establish a correct ecological values and to solve the current environmental crisis, It is advantageous in establishing t of harmonious relationship between man and nature and better in constructing the ecological civilization .
