Natural value is an important concept in ecological ethics; it is also a theoretical puzzle in the process of constructing ecological ethics since its inception, "natural value" becomes the focus of the debate in ecological ethics. However, a different understanding and definition of natural value will directly affect the construction of ethics, "natural values" related to the conception of ecological ethics, and we can find theoretical support for the ecological ethics, and this theoretical support relates to the developing. Direction of the subject of ecological ethics.Holmes Ralston is a senior scholar of environmental ethics; his "natural value" becomes the theoretical basis of his entire system of ecological ethics. It can be said he is the master of the theory of natural axiology.Studying Ralston's theory will help us to analysis and understand this complex concept of "natural value" .and that will benefit the construction and improvement of ecological ethics.This paper discussed three aspects, the first clarify natural value of traditional Anthropocentrism and the content of the theory, this part point out the predicament that human faced during practical activities under the guidance of natural value of traditional Anthropocentrism, and Western ideas of ecological ethics centers of contemporary human and non-human center of both the natural values not with a systematic approach and carding briefly discussed. Ralston said elaborate on the second part of the natural values. Compared with previous values, the values Ralston said is a great theory beyond. Ralston said that the value of things is the objective attribute value evaluation is the main objective of reunification; Value levels and in-depth analysis, thereby breaking the absolute equality of values, solving other ecological problems encountered by the theory; Ralston said strict distinction between interpersonal ethical and ecological ethics, convenient out of the "eco-fascist" vicious circle; he established intrinsic value, the value of tools, systems value model, and bring forward human obligation to natural based on inner value of natural. The third part of the article analyses the idea of Holmes Ralston in a specific depth. Ralston's entire theoretical system is tight, and his thinking compared with the previous theory is a relatively perfect, but he's not perfect and, in some respects also popular controversy, on the whole, he observed and deal with the human relationship with nature to provide a new perspective on ecology ethical theory and improve the development of a useful contribution...
