College English teaching is an important way for college students to obtain English knowledge and English applied skill training. With the popularization of higher education and the common effort of university teachers and students nationwide, the English level of college students is improving gradually and we achieved great success. But with the globalization of economic, there are more and more English level requests for university students. So the colleges must look for reformation actively in order to adapt the new request of our nation and society.At the same time at which colleges seek English teaching reformation, a wide range of community training schools can be found mushroomed in our society and can last for a long time. The article take a deep consideration on the English teaching reformation from the perspective of English language training outside of college English teaching ,combining with a few English teaching comparative analysis of key issues, attempting to help teachers and students to explore a feasible path of reform so that more college graduates can well adapt to the country's development needs.Through the method of literature survey, interviews and logic analysis, the studies combine off-campus English language training and college English teaching reform in the writing process and tries to put forward newer and better way for the college English teaching reformation. First of all, through the market survey of the English language training in Wuhan, there have a rough understanding on the current out-of-college English teachers, students and the teaching mode. Combing the research that scholars have done on off-campus English language training, has been made a scientific definition and classification on it, has relevant presentations on the development of off-campus English language training, has a deep analysis on the existing strengths and the way that have been adopted in the teaching aims, teaching models, teaching content and teaching subjects and so on in the off-campus English language training, points out that off-campus English training has some reference. Secondly, through the survey of the situation faced by the current college English teaching and the outstanding problems that exist in it, combing with the perspective of out-of-college training, analyzes it from four aspects such as teaching purpose, teaching models, teaching content and teaching subjects and so on. Found that a few main problems that are the teaching purpose being of single, teaching model being of rigid, teaching content being of non-utility , teaching subjects being of non-focus on. On the base of the analysis of the advantages of off-campus English language training, target to the problems exist in the College English Teaching, has proposed reform program. For example, teaching purpose should be diversified, teaching mode should be active, teaching contents should be focus on life and teaching subject should be concentrated . In the analysis of these four areas, what the most important is the reform of teaching mode and that of teaching subject. About the teaching models, mainly focuses on self-teaching, teaching by networks and the reform of self-teaching mode in the environment of network and so on and points out that in the situation of new era, rich teaching resources should be make use of actively but can not be following the beaten track, all possible teaching methods should be attempted bravely for improving the teaching quality and the efficiency of running school. The reform of teaching can not be separated from the reform package such as the reform of the aspects of teachers, students, the teaching environment and that of many other aspects. For teachers, mainly focuses on the analysis of incentive systems and the conversion between roles of teachers, points out that teachers should actively learn new teaching methods and teaching philosophy. Only by doing so can keep pace with the growing speed of the college English teaching reform. Finally, the issues such as education funding, the management of teaching system as well as teaching assessment and so on , which need to be reformed on the current are also mentioned in the article.
