Hu Hong is the famous philosopher of Neo-Confucianism in the early of South Song Dynasty and the founder of the Hu Xiang School.He brings forward the Nature ontology which is different from Zhang Zai's Qi ontology,Cheng Zhu's Li ontology and Lu Wang's Mind ontology.Hu Hong elucidates his Nature ontology theory from discussing the relation between the "Nature" and the(?)Fatality","Tao","Li","Qi","Substance".He discusses the Human Nature theory with "the kindness and the evil can not explain the Nature",the Mind-Nature theory with "The nature body and the mind use,fulfills mind to achieve nature",the Gong Fu theory with "studying Substance and acquiring knowledge" and "seeking the Mind,understanding the Benevolence" in practice.Then he constructs his philosophy thoughts frame from them.Hu Hong's Nature ontology and the Hu Xiang school are in the highest flight on the transition and development of the Neo-Confucianism.They bring the profound influence to the philosopher of the South Song Dynasty,such as Zhu Xi,Lu Jiuyuan,Chen Liang.
