Mind and Nature are the two core concepts in Hu Hong' philosophical system.Only on the basis of the accurate understanding of the meaning of the Mind and Nature,we can know their internal relationships and important significance.This paper prepared to on the basis of explaining the philosophical concepts such as nature, substance,principles and mind, further study on the pattern of separation and unity of nature and mind. Firstly,Hu Hong established a fundamental status for Nature,that it is not only Metaphysical ontology, but exists in all things.Simultaneously,it also represents the moral subjectivity of human. In order to ensure that the system of rigorous, he specifically made the transition from the cosmos entity to the human nature.According to its inherent nature, it must be pure and whole. Secondly, mind is also a crucial concept in the theory of nature and mind. He enhanced the height of mind equal to nature, aimed at through observing our mind' infinity and subjectivity to realize and achieve nature. Thirdly, based on the above discussion,we can preliminary understand the concepts of mind and nature, then we will enter the core part of this theory. In his opinion,human nature was identical and unified to the mind of mankind.There is just a slight difference between the two:Mind emphasis on the activity aspect, while the nature stress on the objectivity. Ultimately,they are the one. Finally,He claimed that we should carryout the nature by observing and maintaining our mind which is the only way to realize and achieve human' inherent nature.
