On The Relationship Between Design And Nature

Natural is creator's masterpiece,and the design is the product of human culture , but the two different concepts actually have very complicated relation .From ancient times till now, we can find more or less certain traces of nature in humanity's design.Regards to the design,the nature is inexhaustible fountainhead,and It stimulates designer's inspiration by each way.People's inspiration of three dimensional artistic and plane decoration which brings by nature already talked about by people for a long time. Nearly all essential factors can be find in the nature,for example: symmetry, proportion, balance, contrast, coordinate, shape, space, light shade, color, design, skin texture,which are precisely essential elements for art design. Said from the content , the design takes transforming and beautifing person's living conditions as the ultimate objective, But only natural is the drive of designs and creation . From the design activity, the product and the design history's angle, we can obtain that the design can not to be able to leave nature, we use and transform natura, but at the same time, we can not destroy the nature excessively,and should process the human and the natural relations correctly, otherwise these can cause the ecosystem to degenerate, and affect person's basic survival level. Therefore we must abide the law of natural development.Only have design and nature develoed in an ease harmomous way, human being and environment ability form virtuous circle commonly, so that we can reach the sustainable development purpose.
