Chili has always been regarded as a typical "neo-realism" writer,and her works have been recognized to be "written at the freezing point".Most of the researchers study Chi's works from the angle of'neo-realism","common people" and "simulation description". Actually,Chi's work contains a unique pursuit of human dignity,so it easily leads readers to sense that there is a necessary to treat this female writer who has appeared actively in literature field for over twenty years from the perspective of human dignity and to re-peruse her works.It's everyone's right to own human dignity.Chi's keen demand for human dignity is due to her family,her experience in childhood and adulthood.This paper mainly falls into three parts:Chapter One,it mainly comments and analyzes the critiques concerning Chi's novels. In author's opinion,they mostly study Chi's works from angle of "secularized creation", "common people" and "best-seller writer".Naturally,Chi's success is inseparable from her effort to be secularized,ordinary and simulative.Nevertheless,Critics usually don't have the same interpretation as the does of writer,their attitude sometimes affects our understanding Chi's works from a new perspective,and the major characters' demand for human dignity.Chapter Two,The author of this paper analyzes the tip of the iceberg carefully with the help of existentialism,psychology and writer's psychology.Chi's family,life in childhood,experience as an educated youth working in rural areas,learning medicine,life after marriage all more or less cast lights over her creation.Chapter Three,Exploring the writer's different works especially her novels written at different ages with the connection of her former experiences.After analyzing the thread of human dignity,we can get,Chi's keen demand for human dignity is reflected in her works, especially in her characterizations Chi reflected various major characters' demands for human dignity under different circumstances all vividly.This kind of demand comes most from her autobiographical novel" Come On,Kids"--present for children.
