Peer relationship is one of the major social relations of preschool children, the adult has no way to replace the effect on preschool children's cognitive development, personality development, society adaptability and mentality theory development. As an important component in children socialization course, preschool children's peer relationship is regarded highly by some researchers such as sociologists, E.S and psychologists. A good peer relationship on preschool children's society adaptability and mental health is of positive significance, while, a poor relationship will have a negative affect on preschool children. So, intervening to the preschool children who have a poor relationship has not only theoretical significance, but the more important practical significance. However, the peer nomination of children aged four or five years old seems no predictive. Hence, that can't be a reliable criterion to reflect young children's real status in their group, therefore, we select the children having a higher level of psychological development in high-aged classes for study.Sandplay therapy is a kind of psychological theory combining Analytical psychology theory with Game therapy. In the course of treatment, accompanied with the curer, preschool children have the freedom to place sand and toys, fancy and imagine, express feelings and vent emotionsin the "free and protected" space, to awaken their subconscious and eventually the ability to play a self-cured.We select two rejected preschool children in high-aged classes from a kindergarten in Dalian for a four-week Sandplay intervention. All of them experienced the Peer nomination, interviews with teachers, Teacher Rating scale of Children' s Social Behavior and Sandplay therapy intervention. Then, analyze the theme of the sandplay works, and use the peer nomination, interviews with teachers, and Teacher Rating scale of Children' s Social Behavior once again to assess the development of peer relations. The results show that: the two testees' hurting themes have gradually reduced, and the healing themes have increased. the scope of peer interaction expanded; peer acceptance increased ;the success rate of peer interaction increased; popularity improved; the teachers' assessment of children have changed a lot ;Large changes in Teacher Rating scale of Children' s Social Behavior before and after the intervention.The results of the study show that:1. Sandplay therapy can effectively improve the children's shy - retreat acts.2. Sandplay therapy can effectively improve children's attacks - destructive behaviors.3. Sandplay therapy can significantly improve children's pro-social behaviors.4. Sandplay therapy can effectively improve rejected preschool children's peer relations in high-aged classes.
