With the leap-forward development of social economy and improvement of living condition, many people show their expectation to spiritual fields. They start to spend more of their spare time and money on entertainment to get the merry experience of the process. As a result, entertainment is incorporated into our life. At the same time, as one of the carriers of entertainment industry, information technology develops rapidly, which not only enriches entertainment activities, but also changes people's way of lives and attitudes of consumption. The incorporation of entertainment and information technology is sure to bring about the prosperity of digital entertainment industry, which is already fully proved by the reality of the rapid development of digital entertainment industry globally. In contrast, the digital entertainment industry in our country is just in its infancy undergoing the change from concept to industry. The theory research is not sufficient and the practice is still at groping stage only limited to several pilot regions. Therefore, it is a long way in order to make the industry fully developed and gradually connect with the developed countries. During the process, the direct concern towards consumers or receivers is undoubtedly the key point of the theory research. This thesis will, from the perspective of receivers'reception psychology of aesthetics, deal with the consumers'psychological characteristics of their consuming behavior and reception activities in the digital entertainment industry. Aiming at the specialty of the aesthetic reception of psychology in the whole digital entertainment industry, I will investigate it from aesthetic attitude, aesthetic sensation and aesthetic effects. The thesis is divided into five chapters:The first chapter discusses the theoretical system of the digital entertainment industry. The current international and domestic academic studies on theories for the digital entertainment industry are not abundant, and there are completely new and blank areas. Integrating the ready theoretical researches and discussion, this thesis brings forward a definition for"digital entertainment industries"in four levels based on extensive practical experience, and classifies the digital entertainment products into two types in accordance with the level of consumer interaction from the perspective of the audiences.The second chapter of the thesis deals with the analysis of the psychology of the audiences. After a general summary of the word"audience"and"dynamic process of aesthetic psychology", this chapter will focus on the interpretation of the entertainment industry's"audience"and its distinguished features that differ from the past in the three phases of the aesthetic procession.The third chapter will focus on the aesthetic attitude, that is, at the preparation stage of the aesthetic process the aesthetic audiences in the horizon of the digital entertainment industry will take the game as the core of their attitudes of aesthetic experiences with combination with the attitude of entertainment, appreciation and criticism.As for the fourth chapter, aesthetic perception, an audio-visual feast of sensual aesthetic, will be discussed. At the developing stage of the process, the audiences call for further strengthening of the aesthetic apperceptions and get great sensory aesthetic experiences along with the audio-visual impact brought about by digital entertainment system.The last chapter will study the aesthetic effect. In the virtual reality period of the aesthetic procession, the main aesthetic audiences as the consumers accomplish the assumption of the digital entertainment"symbolic"goods. At the same time, the"mirror" world created by digital entertainment fulfills the audiences'requirement of"self-realization", easily builds a stylish, elegant, noble status, strengthens the interpersonal communication and enhances social identity, and provides the audiences with sufficient freedom to carry out a completely new self evaluation.
