In this paper,in previous studies of omitted theory and Shi sentence, as well as on the basis of "A Dream of Red Mansions" as the text materials,the author attempt to analyze the basic syntactic structure, semantic form and frequency of use of the Shi sentences and omitted Shi sentence in "A Dream of Red Mansions".To explore the features and functionality of omitted Shi sentence in "A Dream of Red Mansions". There is a comprehensive and resounding study on omitted Shi sentence of "A Dream of Red Mansions" about the position,and role.And the value of further enrich and improve the Chinese language is very great.Shi sentence can be divided into six categories,they are substantive and substantive phrases,"de" word phrases,verb and predicate phrases,adjective and adjective phrases,small sentence and preposition object structure in the back of Shi.Semantics,the main discussion of the Shi sentence is the semantic of Shi and omitted ingredients and the Semantic type of the omitted Shi sentences.Finally,pragmatic,we discussed the use of frequency and the pragmatic value of the omitted Shi sentences.
