The Formation Background ZengJing's Embossing Method

I would like to take the ZengJing's surviving paintings as main analysis materials, list the painting in the order according to creation time so as to show the transformation of the whole paintings, to reveal the paintings' evolution, trying hard to restore the embossing method of the historical features of the formation of ZengJing's and verify the paintings according to the literature that has been recorded .Through mutual evidence between surviving paintings and literature paintings , I found that ZengJing's embossing method was formed in the period of Wanli and Tianqi, which has been promoted and formed by Dong Qichang and Chen Jiru ,the representatives of Songjiang School .This finding is quite different from the point of view that the impact was mainly affected by Matteo Ricci. for the embossing method has been formed before the death of Matteo Ricci,and moreover, no records of communication between Zengjing and Matteo Ricci has ever been found so far. This fundamental discovery lays a solid foundation to demonstrate the cause, background of embossing method as well as further discussion of the connotation of ZengJing's Embossing Method.
