Experience economy is promoting the innovation in traditional product design ideology. A new design ideology—"User-Centered Design"has been widely recognized. Facing so many professional and non-professional users, interactive design, first and foremost, must ensure the usability of interactive products. Secondly, the users should be given more concern, so that they would get impressive user experience during the interactive process with the products. This paper starts from the"user"which is the most important factor of interactive design. It discusses the meaning of the user and focuses on two concepts"target user"and"user target", which are closely related to the task analysis in interactive design. To conclude, the task analysis in interactive design based on the research of user target is more scientific and valuable. This paper also draws lessons from the relevant theory of cognitive psychology, design psychology, behavioral science, human-computer interaction, etc. These theories are innovatively applied to the relevant research of task analysis in interactive design. Using the user cognitive model and user behavior model to analyze the relationship among the users'need, objective, motive and action, it lays theoretical basis for correlative research on the task analysis. On the research of task analysis methods and process, this paper points out the key position of the task analysis in the"user-centered design"process. It introduces the data sources of task analysis, focuses on the GOMS task analysis model and its application. Then, this paper integrates the UML tool in HCI with other analytical methods and introduces some effective methods of task analysis. Finally, it discusses the general process of task analysis in interactive design. Finally, the author applies the research findings to the practice of a website revision design, validates the value of the research.
