The Analysis Of Violence Factors In Chinese Contemporary Oil Piantings

With the rise of '85 New Trend Art',the 'focus' of Chinese contemporary art has not only existed in the art field,but originated from the rational speculation refracted from the conflicts between human and society,man and man,man and others.Thus the Chinese contemporary oil paintings exist and develop in this new art environment.Artists make a new comprehensive evaluation of art,religion and philosophy etc.And the quick spread of western artistic ideology and techniques has laid a good foundation to the Chinese contemporary art since 1990 which cares about the reality and the present feelings,the trend of new artistic expression and its internationalization.In this developing art environment,violence,as an artistic phenomenon,has already existed in Chinese contemporary oil paintings.In an attempt to describe and analyze paintings and the expression of artists' feelings,and combine the interviews of different artists,this thesis tries to reveal the existence of violence expression in Chinese contemporary oil paintings and its artistic ideology.Integrating the development of Chinese contemporary society,as well as the rise of the new thought in literature and art and the influence from western paintings,this thesis analyzes the historical reasons for the violence expressions in Chinese contemporary oil paintings.From aesthetics and sociology points of view,they are reevaluated to analyze the possible negative components brought by the violence expression and conclude several inspirations for the artistic practice.The main findings of this thesis is that although "pluralism" is an irresistible trend for Chinese contemporary oil paintings,the artist,in his art exploration,should look on the human culture from the perspective of the whole human history,but also notice the democracy development rooted in the inheritance and development of national culture. Any pure forms of violence advocations which against moral evaluation and humanities advocations,and any simple stimulative appreciation will wear out our driving force for our cultural development,even eliminate the ideal of the ultimate concern of human beings.Therefore,the establishment of the cultural core values is still the indispensable spiritual force for the creation of contemporary artists.
