Research On Du Zhaozhi's Piano And Orchestra: Song Of The Broad Road

There are two important traditions of China's music development.One is the tradition of China's folk music,and the other is the tradition of new music since May Fourth Movement.The thesis introduces the achievements made after Movement of New Music, including the connection with western music tradition,the startup of China's professional music education,the integration of China's traditional culture and music, and the production of many musical pieces reflecting social reality.Therefore,China's music,reflecting the pursuit of revolution,nationality and popularization,has been integrated with western music,social life,and the revolutionary spirit of the times.Research on the tradition of new music since May Fourth Movement is of great significance.Song of the Broad Road by Mr.Du Zhaozhi,was created on the basis of seven typical songs produced after Movement of New Music.The thesis attempts to discuss the composing of the piece.The research can be divided into three parts.First,Mr.Du's artistic creation experience,major artistic achievements,and the characteristics of his music are introduced.Second,the contents,aesthetic ideas,and composing techniques of Song of the Broad Road,and its implications on China's piano concertos' creation are discussed.Third,research on the seven movements of Song of the Broad Road is illustrated.
