In this paper, the writer has made some examinations on Wang Chonggu's records of the original materials and the firsthand information, Then examined various historical data to Wang Chonggu's life, career, achievements and historical merits of several key issues and discussed how Wang Chonggu could achieved his magnificent achievements.This paper is divided into three parts. The first part is on all his life, including Wang Chonggu's family background, the official's career , the thought and the historical merits in order to have a full understanding of him. The second part is on Wang Chonggu's making contributions to improve relationship between the Ming dynasty and the Mongolia. This section is divided into eight chapters, in the first chapter, Wang Chonggu's records of raw data is introduced. In the second chapter, a brief recalling on the causes of tension between the Ming dynasty and the Mongolia is analyzed, specially severe crises in the border areas during the period of the Ming Dynasty so as to understand Wang Chonggu's social background to deal with the rationship between the Ming dynasty and the Mongolia. Chapter III to Chapter IIX, is the main contents of this paper, discussing that Wang Chonggu made outstanding ontributions to the stability of the border of the Ming Dynasty, emphasizing the relationship on Wang Chonggu and "Anda Feng Gong" to understand that Wang Chonggu played an mportant role on the historic event in promoting "Anda Feng Gong". The third part, the writer made a general comment on the role and impact of Wang Chonggu to be aware of Wang Chonggu's position in history through the above analysis of Wang Chonggu, and provided some reference to modern people. In order to facilitate the reader to do more thorough research, the "Wang Chonggu's epitaph" is appendixed.
