When the whole world came across the threshold of the 21st century together, human beings has broken a lot of limits in a variety of aspects and meanwhile a boundaryless cultural transmission form is widely spreading throughtout every corner in this world.The specific cultual semiology of different countries and tribes has been widely applied. Jus like the time when it leted a hundred flowers blossom and a hundred schools of thought contend as the design started, nowdays, after the breakthrough of new technologies and new materials brought by the Industrial Revolution and human beings'coming through the impact and adaption of modernism and post—modernism ,a more ethical concept has been unfolded in different countries.The idea that we have to stick to our regional characters , absord the essence of other cultures and present our national personality is deepening in the heart of our human beings.The Chinese character is the basis of our 5000—year long traditional history's development.Chinese character can be regarded as a profile and testimony of our Chinese cultural development.This article targets the Chinese character as a research objtctive, making a deep understanding and analysis of its formation , development and characters in different periods.Meanwhile , this paper analyzes the ways of application of these Chinese ancient characters in our modern interior design and summarizes some regulatons about these character graphics'using in our current space.Meanwhile, this article has also connected with some modern design's characters to explore a new meaning of some elements such as the strokes , configuration, figure, expression and significance of our Chinese characters and conclude a new thinking direction and application methods of these Chinese characters in our modern interior design.
