The Chinese shorting of form changing has rich and common overlapping forms. Reduplicative adverb as a system that opens increasingly in modern Chinese has been attracted enough attention. Meanwhile, the study of the degree adverb in the systemic of the adverb has been enhanced to higher position. In this thesis, we choose 17 AA-adverbs of degree, then synchronic study with diachronic study, we calculate, describe and analyze the usage of each AA-adverbs of degree roundly, concretely and detailedly. It sketches the system of AA-adverbs of degree and the character of every AA-adverbs of degree on usage and distribution etc. Mainly, including the origin and development, the ability of combination, the function of syntax, the applicability of sentence-type, etc. We also describe and compare the synonymy monosyllable and disyllable AA-adverbs of degree diachronically and synchronically from the syntactic, semantic, etc. And we compare the same and the different with the modern linguistic.There are five chapters in the paper:The first part, chapter1, is the introduction. It points out the reasons why we choose this subject, the method of reach .we define the scope of the study on evolution and the time. In addition, we explain the corpus used in this paper.The second part, confirms related concepts of the reduplication in detail. Then we determine the AA-adverbs of degree according to the statistics of authoritative dictionaries of the empty word and table their classification.The third part is the body text. We mainly analyses AA-adverbs of degree producing different times according to the sub-category from the combination of syntax syntactical function, the distribution of types of sentence with the syllables, affixes attached adverb, as well as used with other adverbs etc.Chapter 4 probes into the motivation of the forming of the AA reduplicative adverbs. And it predicts the trend on the basis of diachronic development. The last part is an epilogue. It is a brief induction of the content stated above.
