A Study Of The Present Usage Of Mongolian Language

Langue is a significant symbol of a nationality . The usage of langue and its development is closely with the development and change of that nationality. No matter what a nationality it is, they tend to not only pay great attention to their mother tongue and even their language using and future development, but also be conscious of the usage and change of their native language. Tt is no exception for Mongolian. In this thesis, on the basis of empirical research data collected from Otag Banner of Ordos City, the author makes an analysis of the formative conditions and features of Mongolian vernacular used in that area and even try to find out the existing problems and propose some methods of how to solve these problems. By means of his empirical research, the author tries to truly reveal the present situation of Mongolian vernacular used in Otag Banner.The present thesis consists of five chapters including introduction chapter.In the introduction chapter, the author gives a brief introduction of the significance of choosing research topic and the rational of the proposed research thesis. Then he makes a description of the literature review of language contact study and existing researches on language usage in home and abroad. In addition, the theory adopted in this research and the research methods and data sources and the gueral nitroduction of the research place are given clearly in this part.In the frist chapter, the basic background of research materials including individuals, social communities, Mongolian schools and kindergartens.In the second chapter is a statistical analysis of the research data. The major findings are summarized and the results from the research data are discussed. Through an analysis of research data from six different aspects, the author show us general understanding of the present situation of Mongolian vernacular usage in Otag Banner.In the last chapter is a conclusion of the research data. The conclusion part includes exploration of the features, formative conditions and the existing problems of the present usage of Mongolian vernacular in Otag Banner. At last the author has proposed some suggestions for how to settle these problems.
