Any product which put in the market competition will become a member of the circle. The market system under the principle, survival of the fittest, makes more and more products out of the"lists". Facing with the shrinking products development, we must find the effective methods which have more advantages to help the life force of products to continue. Michael Porter said that competitive advantages can be embodied in those three aspects:target concentration,inimitableness and the low cost.First of all, this thesis analyses the enterprise competitiveness, advantages over product competition, product development and the relationships in between. Business competitiveness mainly embodied in products competitive advantages, However,the timeliness, difference and innovation of Product development are the best ways to embody the competitive advantage of products.. These expositions are the theoretical basis for the part of the competitive advantages analysis on mobile phone development design.How to get the competitive advantages in handset development and design period is the central part of the research. under the competing background, by classificating mobile phone development types and analyzing the essential competing points in technological process,we can gain the program Plan and know design is the the main competitive stage.Between them,we choose the design as the main way to achieve the advantages of competition.The focal point of this article is how Michael Porter's three competitive advantage theory being used in design in the mobile development .By analysis, Author reaches the advantages over the mobile phone development and designing is as below:Choosing of mobilephone brand opponent in the target concentration and the fix position under the mobilephone breach The difference in the inimtable mobilehone designs; the leading of both of the costs in the design management and value engineering under the low cost .We can build the mobile phone development and design pattern on these five strategic points basis spread out the mobile phone development and design , and realize the mobil ephone products competitive advantage assisting by the designing face.This design pattern needs to depend on some method to make it come true,In this article,we choose Target Majorized as the realizing way.In this way,people usually use a series of handling behaviors.According a coordinate corresponding ,we select four operation actions in common using: Add, cut , absorb, innovate They will cooperate the unlike the advantage factors to realize the advantages over competition in the mobilephone developing and design. In final, we take the design in business mobile phone development as an example in this article,using Michael Porter's three competitive advantage theories to analyse and design.Expounding and proving the rationality and validity of the method, and hope a prosperous develop future.
