Study Of 'Green Package' Design On Paper Material

Papery material, applied in packaging materials with highest proportion, is one of the most important raw material for packaging industry. Non-polluting and decomposable paper packaging material could meet the sustainable development of "Green Packaging". However, the unreasonable application of paper packaging material would cause severe environmental problems and resource crisis. So the "Green Design" of packaging with papery material is still an important issue at present. Based on the development of paper packaging, this study analyze the paper packaging impacting on the environment in the life cycle, put forward the evaluation criteria of green paper packaging design, study the "holistic green paper packaging design" and put forward three steps of green paper packaging design according to holism and the principle of the green circle. It is holistic design, properly restricted design process and easy to recycle. It renovate the modern paper packaging through innovating design, material reduction and homogenization, appropriate structure, innoxious technics and convenient for recycle.Design project of green paper packaging was discussed in this study according to the point of view of holism. It enriches the theory of green design, and provide a theoretical basis for future design practice, and promote green paper packaging process.
