New Research On Self-learning Model--Spiral Progressive Self-learning Model

Since1980s, many researchers abroad had made a number of self-learning model which based on analyzing and integrating the factors of self-learning. But these models was rather abstract because they were based on different educational psychology. So it was not intuitive and comprehensive with relatively. Based on these models, through analyzing all kinds of related educational, communicational, technological theory, the authors summed up one more scientific, more operational model of the self-learning --- Spiral Progressive Self-learning Model. Learners who are in the process of self-learning can find weaknesses of their study then correct it according to the model in order to reach better learning results.Literature research method and comparative method are adopted in this whole paper, which are used to compare those models existing in order to get the Spiral Progressive Self-learning Model. Demonstration method is adopted in this whole paper, which is used to investigate the self-learning ability of classes between before and after the experiment to prove that the model is scientific and maneuverability.The main research work includes:(1)Analyzing the existing models of self-learning, finding the advantages and disadvantages of them, and thinking about the idea of the human capacity and self-confidence, put forward a new self-learning model which is maneuverability;(2)Analyzing the relevant theories of self-learning education, learning, communication, environment, and cognitive in order to provide the scientific basis to the model;(3)The model is used in teaching for finding the weaknesses of students. Through the training, as well as correct, strengthen and enhance self-learning ability of students to ameliorate learning efficiency, so as to provide a scientific basis for this self-learning model.This study shows that:(1) Spiral Progressive Self-learning Model is correct, there is a scientific basis and in accordance with the laws of self-learning and human development.(2) Whether through self-learning teaching methods to enhance the learning results, or using the self-learning method to improve the ability of learners, you can compare each step with this model and discover the problems in the learning process, thus for the purpose of correction and strengthening;(3) Spiral Progressive Self-learning Model will help learners to achieve the goal of lifelong learning.
