Shen Quanqi and Song Zhiwen were two of the important court poets in Queen Wu's period, who made great contributions towards the form of Regulated Verse. Though they didn't shake off the leaven of the poem style in Qi and Liang dynasty, their poems having their real lives'experiences as a basis, the tempered language in their poems was very succint and the smooth rhythm in their verses was lively, both of which were no more the same with the refined but void poems in Qi and Liang dynasty, and the rhyme forms in their works were very completed, which, especially, was given great esteem by critics for ages.Shen and Song's contributions to the form of Regulated Verse lay, through and based on various experiences in rhyme use in poetries by poets of the past and same era, in firming up the mature rhythm form ,and completed the task of"avoiding up the faults in rhyme and giving rules of verses to structure a poem".At last ,which made a clear rule to be obeyed for the poets of past era. It had important meaning to fix the form of Regulated Verse. The author, having chosen all poems written by Sheng and Song in Complete Poetry of the Tang Dynasty as the main study subject in this paper, employing all kinds of series connected type and inductive methods, analyses and generalizes rhyme examples of their poems, identified the feet of each one, then summarizes the rhyme of those poems. Though comparing the simultaneous use and single use of all rhyme in their pomes with that of Guang Yun, we found that the rhymes in those poems are nearly the same as the provisions in Guang Yun, and there are seldom cases not complying with the rules.
