The view of self-cultivation of Buddhism is on the philosophical ideas and practical theories of Buddhism practice. Buddhism builds its unique and rich theories of morality cultivation by constructing in its sutras religious worldview and practical theories which stress both internal and external cultivation.This article mainly discusses the detailed content of the ideas of self-cultivation of Buddhism based upon the three basic sutras: Vajracche dikasutra, Lankavatara Sutra and the Sutra of Perfect Enlightenment. The main content of Vajracche dikasutra is"the real essence and the phenomenon of false", intending to help all the people get rid of obstinacy. So this part mainly abstracts the two questions posed by Subhuti that"How to site the heart and defeat how to the mind of false", and discusses and analyzes the theories of getting rid of various of epiphanies and obstinacy. The gist of Lankavatara Sutra is to illustrate by Five"Dharmas"and Two Self-nature that all the existence in the universe is just reflection of heart. According to this, this article collects and analyses the expounding of mind and other concepts on self-cultivation of the sutra. The main content of Enlightenment is the questions and answers between Buddha and twelve Bodhisattvas. This article abstracts the theories on morality cultivation and the content of the'twenty five exercise turns of cool'then the author puts forward his own ideas on the Buddhism practice.In the end, the article discusses the significance of self-cultivation of Buddhism to life and society through the contemporary social problems and classical cases. This part mainly deals with two problems: the relationship between the development of religion in China and the construction of socialist spiritual civilization and in terms of human nature and morality, what are the reasons of social cases and problems? ( For example, movie stars'taking drug and family crimes.)...
