Research On Development Of Cultural Industry Of Zhang Jia Kou City

In the 1950s, modern western cultural industry has appeared first in the United States. Then, during the 1980s, modern cultural industry has also successively rising in England and other European countries. In almost every city cultural industries bear the weight of industrial restructuring and resolving unemployment and satisfying people's cultural needs both in America and Europe. And it has been proved that the cultural industry do upgrading those cities. Cultural industry of China lags behind of the American's and European countries'. Until the fifteenth national plan, the cultural industry was first been in the economic development plan. In the past 10 years, our cultural industry was developing quickly. However, there are problems like copy, lacking planning and the management system and regulations are imperfect, which would hinder the health developing of cultural industry in the following steps.Firstly, the paper takes the cultural industry of Zhangjiakou City as case study, with the help of the city's cultural industry research to identify the common development regular pattern of China's cultural industry. There are three types of problems which concerted on areas of industry surface, industrial policy and development capabilities. Secondly, the paper makes comprehensive analysis on cultural resources and development conditions of Zhangjiakou city which lay the foundation for the next step. In this article, the paper uses two types of qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis. The paper takes the quantitative analysis created by Xiang Yong and Yu Wenyi from Peking University Institute of Cultural Industries to analyze the cultural resources of Zhangjiakou, and uses the SWOT analysis to current situation of cultural industry development of Zhangjiakou. Finally, with the help of successful cultural industry development experiences of cities in and out of home, the paper put forward proposals to Zhangjiakou City which include strategy development, route development, and introduction of safeguards measures.
