In this paper, I studied of the life of Zhu Ziqing which is the famous educationalist, explored the process and content of his democratic thoughts about Chinese education, and revealed the value of his thought.Zhu Ziqing's democratic thoughts about Chinese education was born in special era, and related with his life, work, experience and his friends. The core of his thoughts is personality education, so according to the era, it can divide into three steps:born, development, mature time. Zhu Ziqing considered that the value of education is to train the healthy personality, break the relation restriction of teachers and students, and generalize the study style of equality, freedom, respect and tolerance, so his thought is improved much. He is not only an educationalist, but also a scholar, because his thoughts about Chinese education sum up much teachers and scholars, so it has much value for practice.Zhu Ziqing's democratic thoughts about Chinese education include four viewpoints:personality education, new relationship of teacher and student, democratic reading and democratic writing. He not only teaches the students to learn the native language, but only to improve the ability of them about Chinese culture. Democracy is the core of Zhu Ziqing's Chinese education thoughts; it can bring us the vale, the new relationship, the new teach methods of Chinese culture, and also can promote the democratic process of Chinese education.
