The thesis of this essay is "Comparison and Research on the image of young careerman between Chinese novel and French Novel", Comparison and Research on the image of "Young Careerman" made remarkable progress between Western and Chinese comparative Literature, but it is rare to find about Comparison and Research on the image of "Young Careerman" between Western and Eastern.In "The Red and the Black" written by Stendhal, who was the Founder of French Modern Realistic Novel, "Le Pere Goriot" written by Balzac, "The Scholares" written by Wujingxin, "The Life" written by Luyao, they are all described about Lasidinie,Julian,Kuangchaoren and Gaojialin.It composed the image of the enterprising man under the guidance of individualism. Although they have no factual material, they all belong to the "Young Careerman" characters. Using the pareller study, it will enhance that we can correctly handle the relationship among the individual, society and others. Afterwards we can realize the universality between social reality and literature, develop scientific value of life and promote socialist spiritual civilization.Typical image means some characters and personalities. The four characters have comparability on edilogy and course of struggle and so on. It has some similarity on deal with individual and environment in this four works. Therefore, it become the object of study, they are enterprising men, in another word they are all young careermen. They are not people of family but they desire to work their way up.In this paper, comparing the characters of "Young Careerman" between Chisene and French novel, and seek for the reasons about producing the same type characters in the Easen and Westen World.
