Up to now, with the further development of basic education English curriculum reform,the shortage of the Englsih teachers, who're capable of teaching under the new curriculum reform, has impeded the advance of the reform. So, we can see that it's necessary to make more and deeper research on the English teacher preparation program.This research is divided into four parts.Part I:It interpretates the new English Curriculum Standard from four angels, namely, language curriculum aims, the recognition on English curriculum, the teaching changes, curriculum evaluation.Part II:Based on the foregoing interpretation, analyze the requirements for the future English teachers, such as diversified knowledge structure, the new educational concept and diverse skills and capabilities.Partâ…¢:Firstly, make a survey about the qualities of the students, who have just graduated, and then find the problems;secondly, analyze the existing constraint factors during the training mode.Part (?):provide four solutions, like optimization of training objectives, new curriculum concept and optimization of curriculum set, new teaching activities concept and optimzation of teaching procedures, new teaching concept and optimization of teaching methods.
