| Pre-Qin Dynasty is a period when a variety of social cultures emerged. These cultures are not isolated but integrated and interactional mutually . The same theory applies to the relation of politics, history and literature. Politics and history have a pervasive effect to the literature. The culture of remonstrating with the Emperor itself is a political culture which, after the interpretation of pre-Qin ideologists, becomes the remonstrating with the Emperor ideology. Remonstrating with the Emperor ideology, in turn, affects the literature. The literary works influenced by remonstrating with the Emperor ideology , come into being and corroborate with remonstrating with the Emperor ideology. Let's define those poetic prose as literature on remonstrating with the Emperor, which emerged in some pre-Qin classics, Shih Chi as well as other ancient literary works demonstrating remonstrating with the Emperor ideology. This thesis will study the pre-Qin literature on remonstrating with the Emperor from an all-around perspective.The thesis is comprised of three chapters. Chapter I traces the source and its production of remonstrating with the Emperor ideology. After that ,following the source, it studies the appearance of the remonstrating with the Emperor ideology, represented by the Schools of Confucian , Mohist and Legalism. Chapter II and III will give examples to explain and expound the remonstrating with the Emperor ideology .In details, the character images appeared in the pre-Qin books such as Guo Yu, Zuo Zhuan and Shih Chi will be categorized and analyzed.They are all character images of offering advice. And then the content related in the Book of Songs, chu ci and Yan Zi Chun Qiu will be analyzed. |
