| Based on the paradigm of affect misattribution procedure, and conducted two studies, this research investigated the influential elements, the potentially internal mechanism and occurrence conditions of the affective priming effect.Study 1 selected 21 undergraduates from Suzhou University as participants, in the standard paradigm of the affect misattribution procedure, taking Two- Charter Chinese noun as the priming stimulus and neutral Hebrew words as the targeting stimulus, and adopting 2(value of the priming word)×2(meaning of the priming word)×2(SOA)×2(experimental tasks)completely within—subjects design, to study the influential elements of affective priming effect. Study 2 selected 23 undergraduates from Suzhou University as participants, under the variance of the affect misattribution procedure of the dual priming verbs, taking the same priming and targeting stimulus, and adopting 2(value of the first priming word)×2(value of the second priming word)×2(variety of the first priming word)×2(variety of the second priming word)×2(experimental tasks) completely within- subjects design, to discuss the background effects of the affective priming on the condition that there are different priming stimulus and experimental tasks as well as the internal mechanism of the affective priming effect. The results indicate that: In the standard paradigm of AMP, there are significant differences both in the value of the priming words and SOA in the evaluating assorting tasks, there are also significant differences both in the meaning of the priming words and SOA in the semantic assorting tasks. Under the AMP variance of the dual priming verbs, there are significant differences both in the value of the second priming words and interaction of its consistency of value with the first prime in the evaluating assorting tasks, there are no significant differences in the meaning of the second priming words, the consistency of meaning between the two priming words and the interaction of the two in the semantic assorting tasks. These results not only confirm the across-culture consistency, the universality and the automaticity of the affective priming, but also confirm the affect misattibution as the internal mechanism of AMP. The false and latent value and meaning that Two-Charter Chinese noun caused to the targeting stimulus and accordingly makes an influence on the participants' judgement of the neutral Hebrew words. |
