| Creative thinking, with many affect factors such as emotion, had been continuatively concerned by theorists and scholars. More and more researchers had paid full attentions on the relationship between emotion and creative thinking. They tried hard to find out a stable mechanism but failed. This study paid more attentions on researching the effects on the result of creative thinking induced by three factors that are original emotion state, induced emotion and emotion regulation. This study contains three experiments to explorer the differences of results of creative thinking induced by three factors in seven dimensions, which are fluency, originality, flexibility, persistency, number of positive standpoint, number of negative standpoint and mean valence. Before formal experiments, the topic and the material which induced emotion in the experiments had been checked. In Experiment 1, 50 undergraduates had been invited to take part in this experiment, which studied the effects induced by original emotion state (positive/negative) on the results of personal creative thinking. In Experiment 2, 176 undergraduates had been invited to take part in this experiment, which studied the effects induced by original emotion state (positive/negative) and induced emotion (positive/negative/the control group) on the results of personal creative thinking. In Experiment 3, 160 undergraduates had been invited to take part in this experiment, which studied the effects on results of personal creative thinking which induced by original emotion state (positive/negative), induced emotion (positive/ negative) and emotion regulation (with/without).Some conclusions had been elicited through this study:1. Original emotion state could make significant effects on the results of creative thinking. Individuals in the positive original emotion state could produce more outputs of creative thinking than ones in the negative original emotion state on the dimensions of fluency, originality, flexibility, persistency, number of positive standpoint, number of negative standpoint and mean valence. 2. Induced emotion could make significant effects on the results of creative thinking. Individuals in the negative emotion induction could produce more outputs of creative thinking than ones in the positive emotion induction on the dimensions of fluency, flexibility and number of positive standpoint.3. Emotion regulation could make significant effects on the results of creative thinking. Individuals with emotion regulation could produce more outputs of creative thinking than ones without emotion regulation on the dimensions of fluency, originality, persistency, number of positive standpoint and mean valence..4. There existed interactions within three independent variables.Researcher had made a theoretical discussion and constructed a model containing three independent variables (original emotion state, induced emotion and emotion regulation) and creative thinking. At last, researcher mentioned that the study about the relationship between emotion and creative-thinking may go deeper in many different aspects such as internal subdivision of emotion, corporation of external factors and affect mechanism, which will explain the relationship between emotion and creative thinking step-by-step. |
