No matter how surging the literary thoughts is, writers of Jin have been sticking to the rural novels, since the 1980s. Their insistence made themselves successful, and also enriched the Chinese literature world. During this period, rural novels of Jin experienced the "rise and glory" in the mid-1980s, then "Downs and Development" in the 1990s, and "silence and ignorance"in the new century. During ups and downs, the rural novels of Jin are able to demonstrate their achievements and shortcomings. But no matter it is masterpiece, experimental works or even if a failure, they are the real emotions about their homeland showed by Jin's writers sincerely. Because of this, rural novels of Jin are unique in the Chinese literary world, and cause a number of scholars and readers to pay attention to it. This is why we choose rural novels of Jin as our research subjects. When we talk about the research of the Jin rural novels in the 1980s, first of all we should know the concepts involved in the Jin rural novels, which is the basis for the study. Jin stands for Shanxi Province in the administrative division. Comparing to Shan Xi Province, it has more cultural meaning. Therefore it is more appropriate to represent geographic space of country fiction. In terms of the literature concept "village novel", we need to tell the differences between"Country Novel" and "village novel"."Rural Novels " have a close, historical and successive relationship with the two concepts. What the novels focus on are rural (including rural spiritual home) and the peasants. However we should notice that novels involve in rural areas and peasants have specific meanings in different ages. At the same time writers'perspectives and breakthrough points are changing as well. Hence the three concepts'aesthetic contents differ. Comparing with "Country Novel" and "Village Novel", " Rural Novel " is more suitable to identify the novels that regard countries and peasants as the main characters in the new age. It adapted to the trend of diversity, when having more extensive coverage and cultural point at the beginning of its appearance. Based on the clear explanation of the concept–"Rural Novel", the following research findings will be reliable.Secondly, reviewing the development history of Jin rural novels since 1980s is the precondition of this research range. In Jin rural novel's development it experienced the process of "Rise"—"expand"—"silence" since the 1980s. There were some outstanding writers. such as Zhang Shi Shan, Cheng Yi, Li Rui, Zheng Yi, Lv Xin, Cao Nai-qian, Ge Shui-ping etc. Their works demonstrate the success of Jin rural novels in some way. They also show the possibility and necessity of existence of Jin rural novels as an individual study. During the "Rise" period of Jin rural novels, the main body of it is "Jin" writers'novels. The representative works are Zheng Yi's "Old Well" and "Far Villages", Li Rui'"thick soil", Cheng Yi'"strange summer series, "Zhang Shi Shan's" older generation "and so on. Compared to the previous writers'works, these novels have significant improvement in the themes intrinsic and the aesthetic content. Furthermore they are leading works even compared with the contemporary fictions of other regions. During the "Expansion" of the Jin rural novels, the rural writers are the writers in the previous period and Lv Xin, Cao Nai-qian etc. The rural novels in this phase have significant development in the novel's narrative mode, description language, aesthetic content and meaning. It becomes diversity at the same time. For example, Lv Xin'"pioneer" village novels, Cao Nai-qian's rural novel shows instinctive desire of human beings and so on. Jin-fiction writers'creations have different features, therefore during this period the Jin literacy became diverse and prosperous. In the beginning of the new century, the novels of Jin bid farewell to the prosperous in the past and went into a "quieter" period. During this period there are very few writers and works throughout the country. Jin writer Ge Shui-ping is an exception among the Jin writers. She had repercussions in the literacy world by "cried Mountain", "to air", "rejection whip" and other novella. Her novels describe the "the truth" of the Jin Dynasty in the life of rural life and peasant-like state by "poetic texts", and it brought a rush of "fresh and warmth" of the village of the wind for the literary world at that time. Certainly, there are many young writers in Jin. They are composing creative works with passion in the position of rural novels. Although their work has not been recognized by people, they are the hope of Jin rural novels to get out of "silence", and move on to next gloryAgain, after conducting a detailed comb and elaborate, main writers and representative works are chosen as breakthrough point and depth point. On the basis of reading the text intensively, this essay focuses on inquiring features and achievements of Jin rural novels. Since the 1980s, the most important feature of Jin and Jin peasants in the eyes of Jin writers is the "bone-deep truth". This "truth" is not only presented in terms of life and truth. It is not only to show the Jin countries and peasants'life in front of the readers, but the more important thing is in the existence level and reality lever. It means to explore the unique situation of Jin peasants'life in a reality way. These "deep-seated reality" especially embody Jin writers'portrayal of peasants'suicide, narrative of the marital love between men and women in Jin, presence of peasants'life in Jin and description of Jin scenery. Suffering the tribulation and stress, peasants suicide because of helpless or rebellion. It is not simply ending their life. It declares the sadness of the existence of individual life; demonstrate the true life forms of the peasants; touching and sad love between men and women romance, shows life's difficult, miserable, tough and clinging when human beings are in poor physical and mental state. Behind these "life", there are hiding vitality's unyielding in everywhere all times, while the embryo of human awakening is pregnant by the tough. It is full of suffering, but "millstone" life which implicates hope reflects the Jin peasants'real life status. The scene description overflowing emotions not only has its own value and aesthetic significance, but also highlighting geographic features of the rural novels of Jin, and reveals the difficult and gravity of Jin peasants'existence field. These "real" in the descriptions is strongly related with Jin writers'spirit of sticking to the reality and love for the peasants, and also the writers'transmutation in rural novels'creation. Thanks to the insist and change in Jin rural novels, Jin rural novels implements "rise", achieves "development", and breaking through "quiet" becomes possible.Due to the previous analysis and discussion, since the 1980s, Jin rural novels'writers have real concern to peasants and the nostalgia as a newborn baby. Furthermore, they deeply understand peasants'life forms and patterns. Then standing on the position of human cultural history, they reasonably explain and"really"depict Jin countries and peasants. Therefore, the Jin rural novels have current achievement—having its own style in China literacy world. To realize this point of view, Jin rural novels are able to have further achievement.
