The Analysis And Countermeasures Of Cyber-psychology Of College Students

Internet is developing rapidly. It has begun to change the style of life, work and learning, make the relationship of individuals and between individual and society, even change the way of man's thinking. Being an important component of society, the schools of higher learning stand in the frontier of the process of the networking of Chinese society and are influenced deeply by the rapid development of IT. College students, as the largest Internet consumers and users with unique psychological characteristics, are deeply influenced by the network. Network equips them with new ideas, enormous knowledge and creative way of thinking, greatly influencing their behavioral patterns, value orientation, mental development as well as moral conceptions and thus giving rise to lots of mental problems.The relation between students and network is increasingly close. The number of online students is going up, but they have different psychological needs such as curiosity, challenge, communication, freedom, online love and sex. Being over infatuate with network made their performances low and their moral conducts disorder, thus did harm to their development. Therefore, it is an urgent matter for education to analyze the psychological characteristics of the online students and their psychological effects in order to find concrete countermeasures.The paper mainly discusses the characteristics and the existing problems of college students' internet psychology and brings forward education counter measures, which should be taken to deal with the psychological problems.From the points of psychology, this paper probes the main reasons for some students' indulging in internet, such as:imitation, compensation, seeking help, evasion, and fear of difficulty and some of inferiority. To solve these cyber-psychological problems, it is necessary to promote the education of students' ambitions, cyber-thoughts and cyber-politeness; to give full play to the function of the ideological educators in colleges; to create perfect cultural environment in colleges; and to direct students to do self-education.
