Academic stress (AS) has a great influence on middle school students'study effect, life satisfaction and mental health, etc. The students'time management disposition (TMD) and their academic performance responsibility (APR) are the most important factors to influence their academic stress. Academic stress is the various internal and external stresses that a person feels during the course of study, which include the two dimensions of requirement stress and task stress. The time management disposition is the psychological characteristic of individual approach in the understanding and using of time, which includes the three dimensions of sense of time value, view of time control and sense of time validity. Academic performance responsibility is an individual's attribution model for his academic success and failure, which includes two dimensions of internal control and external control. This research aims by case study to expose the relation among middle school students'academic stress, time management disposition, academic performance responsibility and the specific approach to interact, and so as to provide reference for middle school education and the students'self-development. This research has chosen 660 students from 5 middle schools of Hebei and Shanndong Provinces and examined their TMD, APR and their AS. With SPSS13.0 and Amos4.0, this research has reached the following conclusions: 1.The adolesence time management disposition scale, academic performance responsibility scale, and academic stress scale are reliable and valid; 2. There are distinct differences among different grade middle school students in TMD,APR, AS and their dimensions; 3. There are obvious differences among the students with different level of TMD in AS and APR; 4. APR and its two dimensions have negative relation with AS and its two dimensions; TMD and its dimensions have positive relation with APR;TMD and its dimensions have negative relation with AS and its dimensions. 5. In the relation between APR and AS, TMD works as a media, with which APR indirectly influences AS; in the various dimensions of TMD, sense of time validity dimension works as a media, i.e., APR indirectly influences AS with the sense of time validity. A further study finds out that APR can also indirectly influence sense of time validity and finally influence AS by its influence on view of time control.
