This article attempts to compare the two comprehensive teaching materials "New Practical Chinese Textbook" (hereinafter referred to as "Chinese Textbook") and "New Practical Chinese" (hereinafter referred to as "Chinese"), and to construct a Chinese synthesis teaching material compilation mode which suits the South Korean students to study."New Practical Chinese Textbook", although prepares a new set of teaching materials which suits for the learners whose mother tongue or the medium language is English, it is also a typical comprehensive teaching material of teaching Chinese as a second language, and also it has been widely used by the domestic and foreign Chinese learners. Therefore I thought that is worth studying."Chinese" is published by a South Korean Press, at present, it is the most popular Chinese language teaching material in South Korea, and many schools, colleges as well as self-learners are willing to choose this material. It is complied according to the book named "Chinese Spoken language Intensive" (Chinese version), which was published by Beijing Language University Press. It could be used as a general education teaching material for teaching oral skills and a self-learning material, its contents are involved in some complex aspects of communication projects on life, study, work, social and cultural. It is mainly for short-term learners to prepare; therefore the whole set of teaching materials focuses on the practicality. That is, to constitute the text with students' daily life, the study, and the topics that relate to the teaching directly. And grammar explanations, sample sentences, exercise also commonly used from the daily life. The grammar is inducted from the conversation to help students understand the grammar points through the context.This article compare the above two teaching materials from the teaching material structure, the text, the practice design and the culture inducts and other aspects. Although the compilation theory of "Chinese Textbook" is the circumference-like arrangement, emphasis on repetition sentences, the exercises are quite obsolete, the establishment is a little stodgy, has not achieved the function of"practical", and makes the learners feel sad."Listens"are also not equipped with adequate exercises. Therefore, in this respect refer to the "Chinese language" exercises designed to improve the fun. The"Chinese Language"is rich and interesting; however the"quantity"of grammar points, words and expressions, topic and practice is inferior to "Chinese Textbook" by far.In my opinion, the more targeted teaching materials should determine the order of"listening, reading, speaking, writing", so that the starting point is low, there is a slope. There should also be targeted to set the contents of the session, emphasize student's practical activities, and increase the proportion of exercises to enrich the types of exercises.
