The teaching materials are not only an important part of teaching, are also one of the four major links of teaching.Teaching material is an important tool for teachers’ teaching.The advantages and disadvantages of the teaching materials directly influence the teaching situation of the teachers and the learning situation of the learners. As well as other subjects, teaching materials play an important role in teaching Chinese as a foreign language. Primary comprehensive Chinese as a foreign language teaching materials for Chinese learners of introductory textbook is the first to come into contact with the learners of Chinese teaching materials. It can not only relates to the learners’ interest in Chinese, but also involves the learners can grasp the most basic Chinese knowledge.The two primary comprehensive Chinese as a foreign language teaching materials are the research objects of this article.From the idea of writing, the text, vocabulary, grammar and practice of statistics and comparison, and analysis of the similarities and differences between the two sets of teaching materials.After that, I put forward some proper suggestions, with a view to learners’ learning and teachers’ teaching to provide some help.The main part of this article for the following six blocks:On the concept of writing,this paper writing purpose, writing principle and writing style three aspects has carried on the comparison and analysis.On the problem of cultivating the communicative competence of Chinese, the principles of compiling the two sets of textbooks are basically the same. Two sets of textbooks have followed the structure, function and culture with the combination of writing principles.However,in terms of specific combination, there are differences.In contrast, the three aspects ofthe “Developing Chinese” is more balanced, while the”New Practical Chinese Textbook” in the three more prominent feature of the project. In the style of the main aspects of the preparation of these two versions are similar, but in the order of the arrangement is different.On the text writing, this article from the perspective of text selected literature,subject, two materials were compared and analyzed.The genre selection of the two sets of teaching materials is mainly based on daily conversation, while the genre of the “Developing Chinese” is far higher than the ”New Practical Chinese Textbook”.In the choice of the type of subject matter,also is the “Developing Chinese” variety.On the vocabulary of teaching materials, this paper makes a comparative analysis of the two sets of textbooks from the perspective of the control of new words and the degree distribution. Among them, “Developing Chinese”new words are higher than the ”New Practical Chinese Textbook”, in terms of the distribution of the two sets of teaching materials are in line with the "Outline" requirements.In grammatical analysis, this paper from the grammatical number and arrangement of two angles of the two sets of textbooks were compared analysis,“Developing Chinese” grammar points total to more than ”New Practical Chinese Textbook”, the number of classes each grammar point average difference. In the scheduling problem of grammar items, the two have followed the principles of compiling from easy to difficult, step by step, and the difficult grammar point for the corresponding segmentation.About exercises design problem, this paper from two aspects of the number of exercises and the type of practice questions are compared. Two sets of exercises quantity are suitable, about the types of questions, “Developing Chinese” speech practice arrangement more reasonable, throughout the first book from beginning to end, its vocabulary and grammar exercises are more abundant. And the "new practical Chinese textbook" are pay more attention to communication practice.It is also more vivid characters of Chinese characters.In the preparation of the proposal, this article from the text genre, subject matter,vocabulary and exercises in several aspects, corresponding to put forward my a fewpieces of advice.All in all, the “Developing Chinese” and "new practical Chinese textbook", the two sets of the basic principles of teaching Chinese as a foreign language is basically similar to the text, practice, and other specific content of the treatment there is a certain difference. It is undeniable that they are very good teaching materials, in the hope that in the course of the preparation of textbooks, efforts to avoid, improve the deficiencies, while drawing on their flash point.
