As the rapid development of the social economy, the accelerating pace of life, and the intensifying of competition, people's mental pressure is growing. Especially in the social transition period, the students endure different degrees of the mental pressure. In university, how to manage the pressure, directly relates to the development and future life of college students. This study aims to explore the influences of receptive music therapy for easing the students' mental pressure. 41 college students as test objects are divided into two groups: test group had 21 members, and contrasting group 20. There into, test group members accepted the group intervention with accepted-music therapy. Before and after the experiment, all the 41 members were asked to fill the questionnaires of self-evaluation of symptoms and Coping styles in order to measure the difference of fore-and-aft between groups, and used SPSS to analyze.The results of this study found that, firstly, through the experiment on two groups with symptoms self-evaluation questionnaire, the receptive music therapy can effectively reduce the discomfort symptoms physically and psychologically, also can control the mental stress caused by physical discomfort; secondly, through the experiment on two groups with coping styles questionnaire, music therapy can improve actively coping style, and reduce the negative coping style. Combining the issues which came across during research process, it drawed the following suggestions on music therapy for future work in college students' psychological counseling:(â… )Vigorously promote the music therapy technology on college students' psychological counseling, with multiple solutions to solve the mental health problems of the college students'.(â…¡)Open music therapy classroom for the students to achieve a better treatment, and receive a better curative effect.
