With the junior middle school students as the main research target, this paper conducts a study on the psychological pressure they face and the relevant solution patterns by carrying out a practical survey among 372 students. The results of the survey shows : firstly, up to 68.5% of the junior middle school students are under rather heavy or heavy psychological pressure, which results mainly from the academic burden; secondly, the students lack dialectic knowledge about the psychological pressure; thirdly, without many effective problem-solving means, ,80.9% of the students choose to solve their psychological problems by themselves, and classmates are always the first to whom they will turn for help, and the class-teacher, the last; fourthly, compared with the male, the female students are confronted with even heavier pressure in study and human relationships.Based on the survey and analysis above, this paper then makes further research about how to solve the problems under study with the help of the teacher, the school and the students themselves. It emphasizes on the concrete solutions on the teacher's part, putting forward the following three ideas: the teacher and the school should takes various measures to alleviate students' psychological pressure; the teacher are supposed to help the student acquire effective anti-pressure countermeasures; the teacher should take the responsibilities of guiding the student to correct self-estimation and encouraging them to face different challenges in life.
