In this paper, Beijing, Shanghai and Changsha Performing Industry were chosen as the perspective. From industrial scale, consumption level, consumption structure and consumer preference, the article in-depth analyzes the differences of cultural consumption among the three cities. And in micro and macro aspects, the article figures out the underlying reason for the differences among cities and culture.Article mainly uses quantitative analysis, content analysis, case studies and comparative research methods, combined with communication, economy, sociology, psychology point of view of consumers to conduct detailed studies. Explores cultural differences in consumer city's society and cultural factors behind it, and then give advice to the three and other Chinese cities to develop cultural consumption and to avoid risks.In the process of cultural consumption, cultural characteristics leading its different position, while urban "culture field", then created the culture preferences in cities and urban residents.Globalization is a good opportunity of cultural consumption and culture industry development. But it must be noted that with "cultural field", most of Chinese consumers prefer foreign culture and popular culture to traditional culture. Chinese cultural consumption should not only be beneficiary but rather regard itself as a spreader and creator of culture. Only in this way, can it have a vast expanse future.
