Studies On Yun Tie Qiao's Activities Of Literature

At present more and more scholars pay more attention to the literature during the Period of Late Qing and Early Republic of China.They study about the main literature Periodicals and the authors as well as the productions that haven't been studied well yet,which are important for the literature history.Yun Tie Qiao was the editor in chief of The Short Story Magazine which was an very important literature periodical in the Early Republic of China,and he translated and created many works,some of which got great success.The article will discuss and analyse the literary activities of Yun Tie Qiao,and discuss his cultural mood and literary concept in the special era, Simultaneously make a evaluation about him at today's environment.The article has three chapters.Chapter 1 mainly discusses Yun Tie Qiao's activities of translation.For many of his translated novels didn't indicate the name of original works and Original Author,and many had been translated form newpapers and Magazines,we can't compare the works translated by Yun Tie Qiao with the original works.This chapter will explore what kinds of works Yun Tie Qiao had translated,and why he chose these works,and what peculiarities of his translated works.Chapter 2 mainly discusses Yun Tie Qiao's activities of edit.He had edited The Short Story Magazine for six years and made it become one of the most important literature Periodicals in the Early Republic of China.and he was so percipient that he discovered many potential authors including Lu Xun who became a very famous author in the history of Chinese contemporary literature. Furthermore he paid more attention to the communication between the editor,author and the reader,which made the reader of The Short Story Magazine participate in the construction of this Periodical.Chapter 3 mainly discusses Yun Tie Qiao's activities of literary creation.In his opinion,literature should reflect social life.His romantic fictions have more social meaning,and his social fictions reflect social life in many areas.The history of the worker is one of the most successful fiction,which is the first short story that reflect the life of the worker. Simultaneously he studied the narrative skills in western fictions,and had achieved great success.
