On The Mass Uprising In The Decade Of The Late Qing

The mass uprising was one of the most serious social problems in the decade of the late Qing. Up to now,academic circles have been calling for the systematical resarch into the popular revolt in the decade before of the late Qing.to answer the call, this dissertation endeavors to cast a thorough probe on the issue with the revevant theroies of history,sociology,social psychology, statistics and so on.This papar gives a detailed analysis of the mass uprising from the perspectives of its general state, characteristics,reasons,influnce.It sketches an outline of the mass uprising,summarizes its characteristics of extensiveness,backwardness and differences, and analyses its reasons of inappropriate practice of the proportion of the population and the balance between land,of the severe land acquisition,of aggression and intervention by western powers,of the heavy exactions,of the frquent disasters,Qing social order disorder,and of the inner drive of the peasents'colonial psychology,etc. Broke out all over the country form a spontaneous popular uprising against the Qing government's decentralization efforts, while not directly lead to the demise of the Qing government, but the Late Qing New Deal delayed the process, so that the Qing dynasty to save his autocratic rule to defeat the self-in the end, the objective of its positive effect, promoting the late Qing broke out in the country.
