Basing on the analyzing task-based language teaching and grammar teaching, the author puts forward using task-based language teaching in grammar teaching. The approach not only focuses on language forms that are grammar rules, but also pays attention to language meaning. Students learn language forms by virtue of language input and language output. Implementing task-based language teaching in grammar teaching, meets the need of grammar teaching of English majors, which requests students to participate in conscious activity, to take advantage of personal experience and studying strategies and to motivate them so that they can learn grammar through completing the task related to their daily life. The aim of implementing task-based language teaching in grammar teaching is to replace or change the traditional teaching method using in grammar teaching class in order to make grammar teaching more interest and be far away from practice.This thesis constructs the basic structure of implementing task-based language teaching in grammar teaching, introduces the methods how to implement the approach concretely in each phase. According to the research of teaching experiment, the result confirms that comparing with the traditional teaching method——3P s teaching method, students can be more effective and active in the grammar teaching class which is under the influence of task-based language teaching.The author uses literature study method, case analyzing method, questionnaire and experimental method to draw a conclusion.This thesis is made up of five parts:The first part refers to the reasons why I choose this topic, the meaning of this research and the literature summary on the implementing task-based language teaching in grammar teaching.The next part introduces the related concepts about task-based language teaching, which includes the concept of task-based language teaching, the definition and categories of task and grammar, grammar teaching and the relationships we should deal with properly in grammar teaching. On the basis of the above analysis, the author raises the idea of implementing task-based language teaching in grammar teaching.The third part states the characteristics of English major of technical college, which make the implementing of task-based language teaching in grammar possible. Then the author raises the framework of implementing task-based language teaching in grammar teaching and gives some examples of the teaching plan. The following part presents the experiment implement in a technical college. Through the manner of statistics, the data, is collected, which is analyzing by the software SPSS. In all, the conclusion is draw from the theory and experiment.The last part is to reflect the drawback of this research, and give some suggestion to implement task-based language teaching in grammar teaching.
