As China is increasing in the international position day by day,learning Chinesepeople around the world also gradually increased, the number of people learningChinese in Thailand also improved significantly, the Thai princess Sirindhorn is theoutstanding representative of Thailand people learning Chinese and understandChinese culture, she made great contributions in the promotion of Chinese teaching inThailand. In recent years, following after the establishment of the Confucius instituteof Chulalongkorn University, and both China and Thailand established11Confuciusinstitutes, Thailand’s elementary school, high school, universities and vocationalschools also have opened Confucius classrooms.Through the investigation and study that students learning habits andcharacteristics,as well as the Chinese learners’ learning motivation in LopburiTechnical College of Thailand,I implement a series of Targeted task-based teachingdesign activities, the purpose is to through practice of the task-based teaching method,trains the student to build a system of their Chinese knowledge, to enhance Chineselearning motive and interest, to improve the learning effect and quality.Different from the traditional cramming Chinese teaching method, task-basedteaching method is to the design of the task and implementation for the characteristics,teaching process is of "student-centered". Task-based teaching method in recent yearshas been the thorough analysis and research, is widely applied in teaching Chinese asa foreign language, and has received the good effect. The most outstanding features oftask-based teaching method is through the authenticity of the design of the task toreduce the distance of class and reality of social, stimulate students’ interest inlearning Chinese, promote autonomously the students’ learning Chinese, and let thestudents to use Chinese to exchange and communication very well.In recent years, the research on the Thai students Chinese teaching is on the rise,but the combination of the task-based teaching Chinese language teaching to try isstill very rare. Especially students in vocational and technical college of Thailand have their own study habits and characteristics, and the Chinese learning motivationand interest compared with the ordinary university students have great different, thereare many difficulties in implementation of teaching. Therefore, research of this articlehas good practical significance, the results of the study has good application value.In this paper, the main content of the following parts:first, through the questionnaire design and investigation, the author understandsthat there are more than700Chinese language learners in the Lopburi TechnicalCollege, including different professional,such as accounting, sales, computer and soon. Students draw more attention to average grade, have the consciousness ofindependent study, and have strong interest in the knowledge of Chinese culture,andthen extremely want to travel to China, these are all favorable factors. But they don’thave good study habits, the enthusiasm of active learning is not high, to some extentthese affect the learning outcome.Secondly, with the help of the textbook " Experience Chinese(Life Edition)”,the author according to the needs of students designed and launched a series oftargeted task-based teaching. In the implementation of tasks, Classroom formdiversification stimulated the enthusiasm of students learning Chinese and enhancethe self-confidence.and the guidance of teachers and fellow students,students boldlywilling to personal point of view, to, the students’ ability of language communicationis obviously enhanced. After completion of the task results show links, most of thestudents are able to complete task achievements with an individual or groupcharacteristics, in the face of teachers give high praise, the students are proud and fullof a sense of achievement.Finally, according to the requirement of the task-based teaching, I implementperiodical achievement tests for students, and correct students’ errors, and consolidatethe students’ Chinese knowledge. Through individual interviews, the author learned that students like various forms, having communicative task-based teaching design,and they can benefit from it. Regard to research on teaching and reflection, the authorput forward some targeted and practical revelation, in view of the task-based teachingoutline, the writing of Chinese teaching materials and Chinese teachers’ training ofChina-Thailand are given some constructive suggestions.Frame structure of this paper is as follows: the first chapter is the introduction,elaborated the selected topic background and significance, the task-based teachingresearch status at home and abroad. The second chapter presents the basic theory oftask-based language teaching, which contains two basic theoretical which ispsychology theory and linguistic theory. The third chapter illustrates the basis of thedesign of the task teaching mode, the design ideas of the questionnaire andimplementation process of the questionnaire, and then start investigation analysis inallusion to students of Lopburi Technical College of Thailand in Chinese learningneeds and learning characteristics. The fourth chapter is mainly to task-based teachingdesign and implementation of Thai Chinese class. The fifth chapter expounds Chineseclass in Lopburi Technical College of Thailand brought about inspiration by theimplementation of task-based classroom teaching design,in view of the task-basedteaching outline, the writing of Chinese teaching materials and Chinese teachers’training of China-Thailand are put forward some constructive suggestions.At present, the implementation of task-based teaching design in vocationalschools in Thailand is still in exploring stage, further studies are required and deepen.
