A Study On Minguo Residential Building In Suzhou

As one witness to Suzhou's development, Minguo buildings which are essential for Suzhou's development have recorded the city's changes and developments of the city bit by bit. Variety of architectural styles in this period have more historical and artistic value.The article selects Minguo residential buildings, the most common type in Suzhou city construction. Take relatively excellent buildings as the study example to systematically demonstrate the historical and cultural value informationof the modern architecture, providing the basis for the protection and utilization. Residential buildings as a reason for selecting the study, which aims at the following three aspects: (1)Residential buildings are the most representative type in the Suzhou Minguo building development; (2)Residential buildings embody the local characteristics decorative forms of Suzhou Minguo building construction; (3)Residential buildings in Minguo period Suzhou has a unique architectural and historical value.Based on a close inspection of buildings, analyze Minguo Suzhou's economic and social development which most impress the residential buildings;mainly from the art style to start investigation ,to classify and summary ; then using methods to compare the same period the different parts of Minguo residental buildings; Finally,I put forward my own point of protection and utilization of the existing Minguo residential building in Suzhou.
